At the onset of the pandemic when in-person concerts were no longer possible, AFCM had to either pivot or shut down. They came to us for a solution.
Even as conditions were changing daily, we planned and announced a season of streaming concerts. For the world-class ensembles, we received raw video footage and produced on demand concerts, streaming them from the AFCM website and providing patrons with instructions on navigating their home technology. For local concerts, we managed pre-production, scouted locations, filmed, and produced the concerts. In both cases, we created a branded video format that established an experience patrons wouldn’t receive elsewhere.
The opportunity to film talented local chamber musicians and bring their performances to the world brought home how fresh the genre of chamber music is. Without the limitation of a physical music hall, viewers from around the globe watched one-of-a-kind performances that might otherwise have been seen by a small number of Tucson-based patrons.
