Carolina Colantuoni

Design Intern

What do you do?
I am a designer. I tell stories and solve problems through design.

What is your inspiration?
Design, art, and everyday life. Music, photography, film, literature, architecture and nature inspire me–so do the seemingly mundane details of everyday life. I am an avid learner; I aspire to expand my ability to compose practical solutions.

How do you work?
My brain likes to be processing a couple things at a time. When I am working, I am usually listening to music or going back and forth between related tasks. One project feeds another.

How did you come to Openform?
Through a portfolio review at the University of Arizona–Openform offered the opportunity to contribute to real life projects and grow as a designer.

What are you reading?
I am reading The Beautiful and Damned by F. Scott Fitzgerald and studying the book of Ecclesiastes.

Who do you admire?
I admire the holistic approach Openform takes. There is an emphasis on detail and purpose that digs deeper into what design is truly about.

What are you working on?

We enjoy exploring new ways to impact our communities. Do you have an interesting challenge?
